“I had the privilege of attending Girls Inc. from kindergarten to 6th grade. During my time at Girls Inc. I attended both Summer Camp and After-School sessions as well as many programs offered including dance, cheerleading, volleyball, girl scouts, and more. I was chosen to go on several trips including the New York trip in 2014.
Girls Inc. had a huge impact on my life and my future career goals. I went on to become a magnet student and an all honors student in high school. I am now about to graduate with my Bachelor’s in Psychology while working with children with special needs in the Washington County area. Girls Inc. taught me important lessons such as responsibility, citizenship, and also taught me many life skills I still utilize to this day! Girls Inc. also taught me the importance of independence and to follow my dreams! I will be the first college graduate in my family.
I am so happy this program is available to girls in Washington County and can personally attest to the great difference it made in my life! I’m super proud to be an alumni and recommend all girls attend!” – Arianna, Alumna
